It's Marie's Birthday, Let's PARTY!
Happy B-day to a BFF of Georgie's, the Archduchess of Fabulous, Marie Antoinette. To celebrate, Joy over at Cupid's Charm is holding a Birthday Soiree, and everyone is invited! She asked us to post an item we have made or purchased, inspired by Marie. God knows, I have made many purchases in the sacred name of Marie Antoinette, but I thought I would post these shoes I whipped together for my Halloween costume this year. They are nothing spectacular but you get the picture!

Thanks for sharing your gor-geous shoes. I hope they made it through Halloween unscathed! And thanks for participating, or I never would have gone to party and seen so many creative and beautiful things to want. To celebrate, I got out my miniature sedan chair (which is generally kept out of harm's way. By harm, read cats and dogs) and put a small tobacco card of G inside. A girl has to travel in style, after all. Maybe one day I'll get tech savvy and figure out how to post a pic of it. (And Learned Pigs will fly!)

Haha! How tart-ly of me! Unfortunately with the absence of my laptop I can't upload any photos. But I can tell you that I wore a black riding habit trimmed with Devonshire Brown ribbons, and of course, my picture hat!
